Acid Staining Acid
Staining is a coloring process involving a chemical reaction. When water,
acid, and salts react with the minerals present in concrete, the result
gives the concrete a distinctive, permanent color , with a
marble-like effect similar to natural stone. The
chemical reaction produces a permanent, rich variegated color, and because
every slab of concrete reacts differently, staining is always
different. In that sense, acid staining always yields a customized
look, and it is ideal for walks, entrances, foyers, driveways, living rooms, bathrooms,
patios, and many other high traffic areas of your commercial or
residential property. |
